I found this Austin based company online: Contain Builders: http://containbuilders.com/

Has anyone used them or seen any of their work?

Hi All, I'm interested in shipping container homes in the Austin TX and surrounding area. Have you built one? Do you know of anyone who has? I'd love to explore ideas about container homes or container apartment complexes. I think done well, a shipping container apartment complex could be a good draw for the area.

I'd love to chat with anyone interested in the idea. Apparently it was done a couple of years ago in San Antonio (see pic).

Thanks,

Patrick

Hi All. I'm new to Austin and am looking for the up and coming areas in which to invest.

What areas do people avoid now and have potential to grow in this growing city?

I'd prefer multi-family homes or small multi-unit apartment buildings.

And if there are folks out there who are looking for the same, I'd love to connect and possibly partner.

Hi All,

I'm considering selling my portfolio of properties (4 buildings, 5 doors), which are all located on the north side of Syracuse, NY. The portfolio includes the following, all contiguous (even though the addresses seem to imply they are not). See liquidanvilllc.com for details:

- 147 Court Street (1 family; 2br 2ba), vacant - just gut remodeled; rental ask: $1,000.

- 155 Court Street (commercial building) occupied for 20+ years as Prestwick Golf, verbal m2m lease; $900/month

- 159 Court Street (1 family; 2br 1 ba), occupied, rents for $875;

- 304 Sunset Ave (2 family; 1 unit: 1br 1ba - occupied, rents for $550; 1 unit: 2br 1 ba- occupied $620/month).

Total annual income: $47,340

Seeking to sell the portfolio for $230,000
