I'm from new york too so I am with you on your quesion.

I have a NYC success story for you, its not mine (not yet...) but its still an nyc success.

Its an investor whom I know closely who will remain nameless and he is not on BP.

Orginally he is from south america. He came to US/New York City with only $60 in his pocket. He worked his tail off and Within 5 years of being in the US he bought his first house in Queens, several years later, he sold that house and purchased a 3 family in Queens which he still owns and rents out. From those earnings he purchased and still owns apts in SoHo.

Be encouraged! All things are possible! Even in the Big Apple!
