@George Blower was reviewing this after thinking about the whole concept and wanted to see if you could explain how the 50% of the assets of the business are calculated is it to total amount of the book value based on dollars in or some other system for calculation?

@Tyrel McAllister have you invested in a quality legal team? Skimping in this regard can make the process truly mind numbing, and at worst can put your investment at risk.

I have tried to invest in Mezzanine funding, however it seems to complicated to me. Is this a good fit for beginning investors?

My father started into real estate this way. It does take a while, but you learn so much about the industry prior to investing, and you get a feel for what the customer wants in a home.

Sometimes trading equity for experience and a guarantee the sale will close efficiently is a worthwhile sacrifice. Just saying.

I have recently received a very dodgy phone call from "Seed for Capital", the telephone operator had a more obnoxious accent than I do! I believe these guys are 100% fraudulent and you should stay away at all costs. They state they are out of West Virginia, but a google search returns absolutely nothing.
