I passed my exam and have a 9-5 so want to work part time as agent.  Can’t seem to find a broker that wants to work with me.  Any suggestions.  I have had a few seem interested then disappear.  Not giving up but disappointed. Any ideas.  I am going to continue go through my schools career list over the weekend.

@Erik Browning so you don’t think I should take the real estate agent up on his offer to work with him and allow him to train me?

@Sunny Alexander I don’t have a personal relationship with this agent.  How can I find out more about him and his success?  He just offered,  I did not ask him for mentorship.  He just offered.

I am new to Real Estate.  Just passed my exam last month.  I have been reaching out to agents for advice on selecting an agency to partner with and to agents for advice on selecting an agency to partner with.  Today I spoke to an agent who stated he is willing to train me and mentor me in exchange for me helping him with his deals.  He said he will compensate me on deals I help him with.  I would still have to pay a desk fee at the agency he is with.  The agency he is with originally turned me down because I could not commit to 3-7 months of training between the hours of 10-6 because I have a 9-5 job.  Since I am a newbie I wanted to get some feedback since I have no frame of reference for this type of situation.
We live in the same state.
