I am rehabbing and wholesaling houses. What would I put here. In the real estate section it says buying or selling for someone else. I'm buying and selling for myself.. Would it be other?

I am looking for an account that is not only familiar with real estate investing but is also an investor. I live in Largo, Florida which is in Pinellas County, but I would be willing to use an accountant anywhere in the Tampa Bay area. Can anyone recommend someone?

@Ned Carey I agree, finding the right deal is definitely the most important factor.

@Randy F. Awesome advice. Do you know the names of any just so I can check them out and see what they look like and then look for something like that in my area?

Where would I look for solid information on which neighborhoods would be more favorable for rehabs? What factors would I want to look into that would indicate an enviroment healthy for buying, rehabbing, and selling? I'm in Pinellas County Florida if anyone has any specific info.

Thanks.

@Wayne Brooks

Thanks for your reply. So you're saying that since this lien was applied after the mortgage then if I bid on the property and win I won't inherit the debt? I saw that there is some money owed to the state, but its only around 1400 which is manageable. However there is a JLN for 7.8k that could be an issue. Before I decide to bid i would def do a title search w/ a title co. How would I research into unrecorded HOA fees? This property does't have one but would I just track down the owner of the HOA? Where would I find unrecorded back taxes?

Does anyone know about foreclosure auctions in Pinellas County? I'm looking at a property in Seminole FL and I was wondering what I can do to search for title issues myself. A title company will charge me $75 but I want to do my own preliminary research.

I've looked the property owners up in public records and did find a few judgments and liens. Are these all attached to the property or the person? Would the county clerk be able to tell me if the liens were paid off?

I know foreclosure investing is pretty advanced stuff so I'm mostly looking at REO's, MLS listings, and motivated seller properties to flip, but I would like to get into foreclosures. To anyone in the Pinellas County; Largo St Pete Clearwater area that is currently investing in foreclosures any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
