Do have an LLC with an EIN but its not connected to my land lording.
Land lording just operates under my own name without an EIN or business license not required in my area.
Hate to give out my social security number. Like on the forms I fill out for the few section 8 tenants I still have. They need the forms filled out and the tenants turn into the section 8 office.
Can I get an EIN as just an individual to use instead? Also have no employees.
Thanks

Get and EIN number and state banking purposes. You can do this for free on the IRS website. I Highly recommend it, just put your name Ray Hxxxxxx Landlord and then give that out.
