Post: Early Lease Renewal - any reason not to?

I have a tenant whose lease expires in September (I know not a good time to have a lease expire especially when you live in Ohio). He has indicated to me that he does not mind renewing his lease early. I also want to keep him and fine with renewing now

Question is - is there any law against renewing lease early that anyone knows? If both landlord and tenant agree to it. Our lease agreement states lease will renew automatically unless they give at least 30 days notice to move. He told me he has no plans to move.

@Chris Habets

Windsor library sent me an email days ago that they are now offering the ability to sign up for membership electronically. Ottawa likely has that option so OP should get with their library. I use both Libby and Hoopla for library books and love both. Just borrowed millionaire real estate investor on Libby today.

There is a new Amazon distribution Center construction about to start very close to where I own a duplex. I’m wondering if there is anything I should be doing to take advantage of the opportunity as an investor?

Any tips appreciated. Thanks

@Erica Fox

I’m also interested in the answer to these questions. Looking for such properties in the London- Windsor corridor. If you find out anything, please let me know and best of luck
