Finding Power of Sale Properties - Ontario

Erica Fox
Posted

Hello everyone. I'm looking for ways to find Power of Sale properties in Ontario. I don't want to acquire these properties at a discount. But, I would like to identify them because they can have the potential for value-add in a flip or rental scenario. In any case, the previous discussions on this topic are a bit out of date so I am reasking.

*Does anyone know how to identify these properties on the MLS if you do not have agent access to the Seller info? Keywords to search for perhaps?

*Is there a new tool or search engine that will comb the MLS for you to find "distressed" or Power of Sale properties in Ontario?

*Does anyone know the title of the person at the bank (usually corporate) who handles these matters? (I'm happy to call and introduce myself!)

Thanks in advance for any assistance.
