Hey man I’m on island as well. My family and I are in the process of wrapping up our first deal. I have not seen many small multi-family properties but do agree that would be a great place to start.

If you your self cannot get a multi family have you thought about doing a partnership with someone for either a flip/buy hold?

Hey everyone, I'm a new member to bigger pockets. I am in the Navy and on my way to Guam. I have been following the BP Podcasts for awhile now and I'm looking to finally pull the trigger being in an area for a long enough time to purchase a property. I am looking to purchase a duplex up to a 4 plex and use my VA loan. Does anyone have any insight into the Guam market? Or any advice they would like to pass on to a new guy?
