@Ernest Plasencia

Hello Ernest. I’m a solar consultant and it really depends on how much you’re spending for electricity.

In most cases it is worth it. The panels require little to no maintenance once they’re installed.

Usually the payment for the solar panels are going to be much lower then the utility bill. But the only way of knowing is by doing a quote which we do for free.

Like you mentioned before some benefits are $0 installation, no down payment required, 22% tax credit, property value increases. Utility company pays you for electricity you don’t use. The panels have a 25 year warranty.

Side note: Another benefit is that our company offers a referral system. So for every referral we get from you and they install you get $1,000

This is a game changer because your ROI can increase drastically

If you have more questions just send me a message I’ll be glad to help

@Luis Valdez

Hi Luis, I’m a solar consultant so I could give you some feedback.

If it’s a good investment or not, It really depends on how much you’re spending for electricity. Every property is different. There is really no way of knowing unless you get a quote which we do for free.That way you can look at the numbers and see if it’s good for you or not.

However some of the benefits are that the government helps you out with a 22% tax credit.

With us you pay $0 for installation no down payment required.

Your property goes up in value.

The utility company pays you for excess energy that you’re not using.

If you’re interested in getting a free quote so you can look at the numbers feel free to contact me.

@Brian Ortins

Hello everyone, it's been 7-8 years since this post and a lot of things have changed in the solar industry. As a solar consultant I can say that prices for equipment have dropped making solar more affordable, and increasing the ROI.

There’s also a federal tax credit currently at 26% but as of 2021 it’ll be 22% which is still good on return.

There’s a lot of benefits: installation is $0 dollars and no down payment needed.

The extra energy you don’t consume the utility company buys it from you.

If doing a loan on the panels, Interest rates are really low. 2.99 %

The ROI is different for every property. Not all homes consume the same amount of energy so every house is different. The only way to know is getting a free quote so you can compare the numbers.

@Christian Johnston

Hello Christian I’m a solar consultant here in Dallas Tx. Yes installing solar panels increases the property value, and in most cases your solar payment would be a lot cheaper then the electric bill.

Not only that but there's also a 22% federal tax credit making your ROI higher.

If you have more questions send me a message I can help you out.

Hello guys from BP. I live in the Dallas Tx. I currently work as an electrician, I've been on the trade for 4 years now. I want to raise funds to invest in real estate but it'll take years before I can save enough money for a down payment. So instead i want to make my own electrical company and accelerate the process. However you have to be a licensed electrician to be able to have your own company and I still don't have my hours. Im really good friends with a master electrician though . He use to have his own company for 6 years but not anymore. I think because it was hard managing it. I want to partner up with him but I need to be valuable. I want to see what business books are good to read that way I have some knowledge on how to run a business and properly manage it. I want you start a business with him but I need to bring something good into the table. What are some good books that could help me with this. I'll take any tips also. Thanks.

thanks for the tip man
