Post: Landlord enters appt with no notice or consent?

Yes, the laws vary state to state.

Years ago I had a landlord who used to enter without notice, whether I was home or not.

I changed the locks, which was legal in my state.

That made him angry but solved the problem.  I had planned to leave at lease end anyway.

Landlords are operating a business though most small operators don't act like it.  Tenants don't want pastries and nice visits.  Tenants want privacy, respect, and quick repairs.

Find a name that is about the unique way your business serves your clients or investors.

Have your business name match your website URL as close as possible.

Only use words/names that are very easy to spell.  Your name could be easily misspelled.

Curtis is right.  Adverse possession could be a big problem.  Get a lawyer.  Now.

There's lots of information on City-Data.com re the areas you mentioned.

I would start working on the work permits and residency visas first.  Tricky!

I'm looking for financial strategy advice at this point.  Please assume all problems with zoning, licensing, permits, have been successfully addressed.

Thank you!!!

Thank you for asking, Patti.

I have my eye on a particular state back east.  Zoning issue would be solved during early site research.  I'll move to state where project is located.
