I just signed the contract on a foreclosed Hud home in Ulster county NY. Could I have made a contingency on the home having a home inspection? I have only done a drive buy so far. Also having some trouble with the proof of funds. I'm not sure which company to use. I have a buyer lined up but I need to do a walk through first. Any one with Hud experience in the New York area please reach out. Thanks

I appreciate the reply! I contacted an agent from HudHomes who told me I would need the $1000 just to place a bid on a particular property. I was not sure if this was standard or just some agents required this. I would like to make multiple bids, I'm prepared if any one is accepted.

Hey guys! I have been diligently finding properties for other people and now I am ready to pull the trigger myself. I recently moved to Westchester county in Nyc and I see some opportunities in the surrounding counties as well. I am looking for an experienced wholesaler, flipper, investor or wholesale friendly real estate lawyer. I just need some help with the contract aspect as far as purchase and assignment contracts. Any good investor friendly real estate lawyer is needed. If there are any active investors or lawyers that I can just talk to in the New York city area I would greatly appreciate it and assist them if I could in any way.  Thank you.
