HUD home without a listed broker
There has been a vacant house down the street from me for a few years now. I finally decided to contact the number on the door and found out it's a hud home. When I contacted HUD and gave them the listing number, they told me it would be available to bid on once it was assigned a broker. I have been checking every other week and still do not see a broker listed. Only a property management company (they've been mowing). I contacted them and they said they have nothing to do with the sale of the property. Is there someone else I should be trying to contact? I'd love to make this my first flip (if the numbers work out). I just don't know how to obtain this property! Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
