@Michael Noto Illinois requires a 5 Day Notice for failure to pay rent. As mentioned, reiterate that the rent is due and that the hold is simply on evictions - not rent.

@Robert Paquette. On occasion, we have. If you do, ensure that your lease contains language disclaiming warranties and fitness for a particular purpose for the items.

@Antea Alexander If this violates your lease and you are aware of the breach yet fail to enforce, there’s a chance you’ll be found to have waived the right to enforce this provision. Absolutely mention it.
