 I second this. Ohio seems to have some good buys.

I admire your enthusiasm but as others have said be vary careful under present circumstances. Material costs are changing rapidly and finding good workers is difficult. Make sure you do your due diligence before you start. That being said Good luck!

I think with your attitude you should do just fine @Mercedes Anthony . Going out of your way to be helpful, personable and to be willing to do the work is a rare quality. Keep running the numbers on new properties because discovering real value will endear you to investors.

It really depends on context. What rent will you be asking & is this somewhat expected? If you're renting to college students or similar it may be ok.
