@Patti Robertson Thank You!

So I’m planning out my screening process and I am reading about ADA laws (Americans with Disabilty Act). The property I plan on renting has stairs to it. My question is, if I rent to someone in a wheelchair; is it my responsibility to add a ramp and lower the kitchen counter tops?

Anyone who has read NOLO: Every Landlords Guide to Finding Great Tennants. There are plenty of forms in this book to help the tenant screening process. My question is; When you go to the website, these forms cost $15-$40, but they have them in the book. Is the book version more of a “freemium” version, where you get the basics but the online version is better, or are they they the same and you’re just paying for a digital copy? Also, is it copyright infringement to use the versions from the book without paying?

So, me and my friend want to start our path into real estate investment. I have recently inherited a deal of capital; while he is talented with home repairs. Is there a way that we could help each other out without taking advantage of the other?
