We've been on FF since August and have found 2 great tenants from it so far. Easily worth the $99. But I'd still diversify and list on multiple platforms.

Quote from @Zachary Deal:

@Benjamin Sures I would recommend looking into a lifting coffee table. I have used these in the past personally and they are a great option that makes eating on the couch a lot more enjoyable when you have no room for a table(also the extra storage is a nice touch)!

Here is an example: https://www.wayfair.com/17-Stories--Lift-Top-Extendable-4-Le...

We have this exact same problem. 1 bed 1 bath with zero table space. We also went with a lifting coffee table from Walmart. Biggest complaint is it scratches REAL easy. It's not going to last us long. We're also adding a dropleaf space saver table from Amazon (that's probably also junk. I'm having real headaches with furniture) that fits 2 stools underneath. Message me if you want the link, BP typically flags me whenever I post an Amazon link in the forums.

Who is your target market? Is it families or traveling professionals? If it's families, those types of amenities are great. If it's traveling professionals, I don't think you'll see the demand.

You can throw it up on Zillow. Zillow isn't set up for STR or MTR rentals, so you have to make it super clear in your listing through the description. Even then, you'll get a lot of folks who don't read. But some still have success with it.

We took the suggestion from FF to start $300-500/month over LTR rates. A second suggestion I took from this forum was to raise the rent 5% between each tenant to try to find the market's ceiling.

Thank you for setting up last night's meetup!

It was great getting to meet you and other investors from the Akron area and discuss the different opportunities and insights everyone had.

I'm looking forward to next month!

Thank you Stashoo! It was definitely a fun event. I'm glad we're connected!

Quote from @Tony Guardado:

How many people attended this event ?

There's no way for us to know how many people we'll get. I've had as few as 2 and as many as 20. Most people don't RSVP, probably because they're waiting to see how many other people are going to RSVP. The only way to get an accurate number is to join us and do a head count in person =D
