@Tanya Burton I found a registered agent online. Search for "MDRA Maryland Registered Agent Service $49 for Maryland Corporation and Maryland LLC " and you find them. Also another option is ask a friend, who lives in MD to be listed a registered agent.

Hello,

I’m considering purchasing a multi-unit in Baltimore. It comes with 3 water heaters, 3 separate electric panels, however landlord pays for heat since there is only 1 furnace. I want to have tenants pay for heat and it’s gets very expensive. How do you go about splitting heat? Should I switch in baseboards? Any advice? Thank you

@Seth Hochberg 100% correct. Zip codes don’t work in Baltimore city. It’s block by block system.

Can you security deposit to pay for utility bills, if tenant fails to do so in Baltimore city?

I read Maryland Real Property § 8-203.1 and it doesn’t say anything about utility bills.

Thank you
