I am looking to close on a 2300 sqft 4BR, 2.5Ba really nice house in Fishers, Indiana. It has a big yard (0.25 acres). This is my first ever buy. The plan is to live for a year and then rent the place out to a family. My concerns are the following:
1) Will it be difficult renting the house that is a 4BR house versus a 3 BR house ?
2) I am concerned about being able to manage a big preoperty as a landlord. Can anyone who has done this offer some insights and tips?

Thanks @Brenden Mitchum for your reply. Yes, I will start diving deeper into the REI resources. I currently started with 'Bigger Pockets - The Ultimate Guide to RealEstate Investing" . Are there any specific books/resources you would recommend for a complete beginner ? Besides educational resources, are there any specific actions that I can start taking now to apply the knowledge that I am acquiring?

Thanks again for answering my question and helping me out. I appreciate it !

Regards,
Navtej

Hey guys,

I am completely new to REI. I am 28 and live in the US on a work visa.To gain financial freedom, I set out a goal have financial freedom by the age of 33 by having US$4K per month of passive income (post taxes) in the next 5 years. How realistic is this goal ? & how do I plan and what set of actions should I be taking right now?

I have currently no loans and have saved up US $50K. I am looking for guidance & direction.

Thanks!
