Greetings Everyone,

I'm a rookie investor from Maryland and the St Louis area was one of the markets I'm interested in. I wanted to find out about Class B and above neighborhoods within the city and its surrounding suburbs within a 30 minute drive. Would something like Florissant, MO considered B?

Also, my max budget is 160k and below and wanted to find out if this is doable?

Hi @Vidal Gonzales

Just like yourself I am also interesting in investing in out of state deals. Specifically in the Columbus, OH area as I live in Maryland and prices here are way to astronomical to get any reasonable ROI.

The books that @Joe Miller recommended are some great reads. I also like House Fire by Alan Corey who was featured on the BP podcast a couple years ago.

Greetings all,

I'm a rookie investor from MD very interested in long distance rental investing in the Columbus area, preferably single family units. As of now my budget is around 130k. Can someone provide some insight on whether this is doable and provide some recommendations on Class B and above neighborhoods and/or neighborhoods in the process of revalitazation?

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

If there is anything I can do in terms of providing any insight in the Washington DC metro area in return, please feel free to reach out.

Hi,

I currently live in MD and am interested in investing within the Lexington, KY area. I have yet to buy my first rental property and looking for some advice on what would be the some safe and affordable areas to invest in? My budget is 160k and below.

If you need any assistance regarding the DC-MD-VA area, I would be more than happy to help regarding recommendations and insight.

Any advice or recommendations are greatly appreciated.

Best,

Navraj

Greetings All,

I can't describe how excited I am to join this great community. I currently live in western Maryland and have given up on the idea of investing anywhere close to where I live due to the super high priced real estate. Before I even list my questions I wanted to introduce myself. I am currently a Software Consultant with an experience of 3+ years in the industry, if there is anything that I can bring value to you that is tech/software related I would be more than happy to help.

The following questions I have regarding investing VA beach are:

1) Is it possible to invest from far when you have no prior experience owning a rental property?

2) Where should I start from?

3) What are some safe and affordable areas of VA beach as I have a budget of 165k or less? (Currently in the process of saving on the 20% down payment)

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.

Best,

Navraj
