We have been getting people complaining that we only leave 1 full roll of toilet paper on each of our bathroom toilet paper holders. We also leave one roll of paper towel and we have 4 bathrooms so there is 4 rolls and a roll of paper towel.

We are considering adding a roll under each sink to eliminate this request/complaint but thought it was odd after years of doing the same thing why we all the sudden had people complaining about only having one full roll to start?

We literally got a 4 star review overall because there wasn't "enough tp" in the house and because the linens are provided in sealed bags and not on the beds, but everything else " was great". I know some of you put linens on etc etc but we have done this since the start.

Wondering if there's something I'm missing here lol- apparently there's a 2 roll minimum in the marketplace right now.

I had a cost seg done on one of my homes and trying to get one done on another from this company that rob with bigger pockets had done a set on.

Every time I email them it says there email doesn't exist and cannot get a response. Last time I used them it was quick responses and communication and now I cannot get in touch with them is anyone else having this experience?

is there someone else that y'all know of there I need to contact to get my second house cost seg completed?

Seems odd I cannot get a response this time, I even called there number and it goes to a woman's voicemail?

First and foremost offsetting w-2 income will only or mostly come from cost seg and bonus depreciation which currently is at 60%. Make sure you consider that.

There are not other ways to directly offset w-2 income with str by jumping that passive v active income curb.

have to get out and explore areas if you want to find that perfect investment, a forum is not going to highlight where and what best str area is best for you.

Hahaha he has his reasons. Not my problem haha. He wants the house badly and he wants to keep his monthly payments below $1,400 which I am able to do for him.

Well I guess that's one way to look at it, sounds like you are dealing with a millennial that is looking at payment and has a little cash.

good for you, you'll end up foreclosing on the deal after he can't pay but I guess you will had made some money but will probably need most of it to fix it back up.

seen this happen a few times, not for me but if you have the stomach for it....

Thank you @Nathan M kiefer. We are going to reuse an existing door. Should there be insulation if the new drywalls are going to be interior walls? Please pardon my ignorance as I am getting my feet wet.

Hello:

I got a quote for converting a 16x10 living room into a bedroom. It has 9 foot ceilings, some plaster of paris and need to adjust a vent. The handyman gave me a quote for $5000 and $300 for materials. I live in the vicinity of kansas city; does anyone know if this is a reasonable estimate?

Should I get a second opinion?

Thanks.

 Not a very clear scope?

framing, electric, adding walls? Doors closet windows?

not enough information to give you an accurate quote.

the only thing we can derive out of this post is $300 in materials and 5k labor something isn't right. No clue how it takes someone 5k in labor on $300 in materials but you didn't provide enough information

Sorry. Let me try to give additional information.

Currently, living room and dining room is one large space (open layout).

My intent is to convert half of this space into a bedroom by adding drywall on two sides with a door.

This space already has windows and I have no intention of adding closets. Some electrical is involved to add light to bedroom and some work to add air register. I was quoted 5k.

 Labor seem ok ish.

materials is no where close for a 16 foot wall x9 tall. Studs, plates etc are probably double.

if they have the electric and moving the HVAC(duct) in the labor it's potentially not a bad number. I say from a quick look 1k on materials is probably closer by the time you figure, studs, plates, insulation ( should be insulated) drywall, mud materials trim, door, door stop, door knob and casing.
