I have a rental property that I have built up an equity over the last few years. Now, I want to cash out this equity. I didn't find HELOC option with a fixed rate? Also, the home equity loan is not an option for me giving that I am going to use this for finding out my next investment opportunity.

What is the best way to cash out an equity for a rental without refinance or home equity loan? I am running out of options in my brain...

Looking forward for your help.

I'm trying to shop for a fixed rate HELOC for a rental property I own. All what I found either a equity loan with a fixed rate, others offer a variable rate with the option to lock it in 3 times during the life of the loan which is around 12 years?

Any directions on how to find a fixed rate HELOC for a rental property i own in VA?

The idea is that I don’t want to pay for the full amount of the equity loan which may take few months before I use some funds as a DP of my next investment property.

Thanks.

@Michael Noto this is very helpful. I was confused with the option of the live auction so I thought it does require me to be physically present there. Thanks for your clarification.

I want to buy properties from auction.com and the properties are out of state, my question is: how can i join the auction or bid while i am remote? Is there any platform they use or agent i can hire for this?

Thanks.

I have built an equity on a TH and I want to use my equity to purchase investment properties? As I have read, the HELOC is the way to go. Here are few questions:

1) what are the best HELOC lenders for rentals?

2 can I get a fixed rate? What would be really competitive nowadays?

3) any other recommendations for using my equity for rental investment properties?

Thanks

I’d like to connect to committed rehabbers in St. Louis area? General contractor to fix and rehab MFs or SFHs? Appreciate directions or recommendation since I’m an investor out of state. Thanks.
