Hello @Tom Valichka , I would say it is important to know realtors, but to gain actual useful experience meet with those who are actually successful at doing what you want to do.  BiggerPockets is a great way to meet and network with professionals.  You should also search in your area for any REIA's or real estate clubs and attend some of the meetings. That is a great way to meet the people in the business and you may find someone that would trade you're services for knowledge. Networking works and it is also a great way to build your team.  Best of luck to you in the future.  Happy investing!
