Hi, I'm interested in buying my first property in Baltimore soon.  I'm looking at places this weekend hoping to find something nice

You definitely want to add more pictures to the profile.  People want to see what's inside and just the 1 picture poses a sense that everything on the inside might not be as expected.

I too I'm interested in obtaining my real estate license, mainly for my own personal investment.  I love working at my current job but I'm aware of my short comings in real estate.  How do I gain knowledge without feeling overwhelmed by my 9-5

Thanks everyone for your responses. I went through a credit union vs a major bank. My DTI was way off being that I have a car loan as well. He did mentioned that I should pay down my debt and may try back in two years when my car note will be paid off. I understood exactly what the problem is hence why I trying to increase my income through real estate. He didn't let me know the projected rental income but I looked that up already.

Brian I'm looking into an investment properties. Pardoned me for asking (newbie to the industry) a loan originator is through the bank?  Is it through the bank i tried to pre-qualified with first.

That's a possible option that I will have to look into.  Was trying to stay within a good interest rates but nevertheless private lenders are always a way to go. Not familiar with business partnership since I'm new to real estate but I will keep both in mind
