  Point of turnkey in my view is to get as close as possible to dump money and do nothing, like dumping money into index fund, idea being your hourly time is more valuable at your 6 fig+ w2.   I personally would not go the turnkey route with the goal of learning.

You have this backwards.  Forget the money, start by first helping the homeless.  Then you'll get credibility, instead of only helping them once your ultra-rich, which will never happen.
