Post: Syndication book recommendations?

I'm currently reading Best Ever Apartment Syndication by Joe Fairless and recently finished Raising Capital for Real Estate by Hunter Thompson -- both came recommended and really enjoy them with tons of good info.

I work in marketing/investor relations for a syndication company and also invest in other syndications. I'm always looking to learn more and would love to see what others found helpful!

What are your book recommendations for syndications and why? Thanks!

Hi @Philip Thomas

I work in marketing and investor relations for a syndication. I'd be happy to explain if you're still interested, shoot me a message!

Post: 100k cash-- how would you invest in San Antonio?

Hello BP! If you had 100k cash to use on real estate for the San Antonio market now, how would you invest?

Any specific zipcode/areas that are up and coming but still good for fixer deals, especially on all cash offers under 150k?

I'm new to the San Antonio market and looking to BRRRR, hoping to find foreclosures/off market fixers. If there's anyone experienced with foreclosures in SA, I would love to connect! Also open to partnerships if anyone is looking as well as finding an experienced investor-friendly agent! My background has been mostly passive investing in flips and syndications in Los Angeles, currently looking to move to San Antonio.
Also any DIY-ers? I'm looking to DIY the house hack as much as possible, mostly because I enjoy handiwork and want to learn, would love to connect!

Thank you!

Hello! I'm a new investor in the LA county area --I have been looking at some properties on auction.com and was wondering if anyone has had any experiences with the site/buying foreclosures in LA and any related advice...thank you!

Also would love to connect with others in the area! Specifically, I'm looking for a fixer duplex/triplex to owner occupy one unit and rent out the rest to start out with, something around East LA, USC, or midcity (not rent controlled), under $700k. I'm also open to working together with a partner and definitely would appreciate a mentor or recommendations for an agent, inspector, etc.

Thanks!
