@Garfield Thompson Hi, Garfield, yes I’m in the final stages of finishing up my second flip and closing on my first multi family buy and hold in October. If you’d like to connect sometime, let me know.

@Michael Spindler There is also a meet-up of like minded investors in Windsor usually on the fourth Monday of the month and in Glastonbury on the third Wednesday of the month. Neither has any selling, just networking.

My BiggerPockets goal is to complete all the podcasts, I started backward and just finished #176 yesterday.

I completed my original 2018 goal of purchasing and completing my first flip, so my investing goal for the remainder of the year is to acquire my 2nd and 3rd flip properties.

Good luck to everyone else in reaching your goals this year too.

Hi Danny, I’m a flipper/investor in Bristol. I’m aware of two meet-ups in the Central Connecticut area. The first is run by @jacob Reilly and Scott Hollister in Manchester and I think the next meeting is April 10th at 110 Main Street. The second one is run by @Stepanie Cabral in Newington, I think the next meeting is this coming Wednesday at the Wood n Tap restaurant. If there’s anything I can help you with just let me know.

I think I was literally listening to the podcast this morning, it was #218 with Erik Stark, it’s not all about the topic you mentioned but he does talk about it in the podcast.

@Jerryll Noorden, I read your post above about how many leads your getting on a weekly basis and I am in the middle of completing my first flip and am starting to look for my next property. I wanted to connect with you to find out if you wholesale any of the properties you’re able to get under contract?

Hi Jim,

There is one in Manchester (110 Main Street) on Tuesday, March 7th at 6:00 pm. It's free and pretty much an open forum to connect with others, learn from others and ask questions.

Hi all, I feel like I am only kind of a newbie, because I have been reading and researching everything I can find on real estate investing on BP and elsewhere for just under a year. I've also attended some local REI meetings that have been very helpful. Having said that, I am now at a point where I've developed relationships with a contractor (neighbor and equity partner), his wife, a real estate agent, and a hard money lender. Now all I have left to do is to start finding good fix and flip properties, which appears to be very competitive and one of the hardest parts of this business.

I'm really interested in connecting with other investors/rehabbers/actual wholesalers in Central Connecticut to talk with and work with.

Just thought I'd finally introduce myself.

Thanks,

Mark
