@Garfield Thompson I hear that. Speed can be a big factor in this game, but are you being specific about what property you're looking for? I've noticed that when analyzing deals I find myself having to start checking for comps similar to what I'm looking at. If you get specific on a type of property, the features and your price range then analyzing deals will happen much faster because you will already know the basics of the area (comps, schools, etc.) Become your area's Expert.

Hey @Garfield Thompson, I'm brand new to REI and live in Stafford, CT. I have been doing my research a little bit here and there over the last couple years, but have accelerated my info intake a lot recently. The itch to pull the trigger on my first deal is getting stronger and stronger!

@Garfield Thompson We have buy and hold multi family properties in Tolland County.  We started investing in CT about 4 years ago. We have had good luck finding deals and with diligence good tenants for our buildings. I would suggest finding a local Bigger Pockets Meet up. I attend the one in Manchester CT. I have met my Real estate attorney there, my loan officer and great resources that helped me become confident in the rental game. I hope that helps!
