Wish me luck guys as I just put an offer on my first investment property! If my offer is accepted I plan on fixing and flipping this home to make a pretty nice profit! I was given some inside info on a house that the owner was willing to let go for just the unpaid property taxes so hopefully they accept! I've been lurking on here since about novemeber or so and after all of the reading and success stories on here I'm finally taking the next step! Ill keep you guys posted.

Welcome to the site Robert! I am pretty new myself and haven't pulled the trigger on my first investment property either but I love reading all the threads on biggerpockets and learning. I plan to get something started here soon but in the meantime Ill just be getting info!

Ron Steele Im doing great. This will be my last year overseas and although I haven't been able to get started just yet in Real Estate, I plan on trying to go full time with rehabbing/flipping and Buy and Hold. Right now I'm just learning all I can and trying to be prepared for when I get back! I'm going to Inbox you my info.

Hey Jenkins thanks for all the savvy advice and yes I did play at the University of Montevallo and currently play a small forward. Everything that you mentioned makes perfect sense and I will definitely try and take all those things into account as I start my real estate career! Thanks
