Hey guys. I am negotiating a seller  financing deal with a property owner,who inherited a home after his mothers passing. House has no mortgage. He likes the idea of seller fiancing but in not sure how it will be taxed if je received monthly payments since he lives in California and the property is in Indiana. He is also wondering if the taxes would be less if he just sells the property outright. It has been almost a year since his mothers passing. Does anyone have experience wirh this?

 This March made a full year since purchase.  I used the home while I worked in that town and just started renting rooms out in December after my work contract ended. 

Has anyone successfully refinanced MTR property after 6 months - 1 year after placing it on the market? 

It depends on your Market, size of the project and your skill sets. You can have a Full bathroom and kitchen done under 10k each, if the plumbing stays the same. If your hiring someone a reasonable price would be 3-5K for the bathroom and 5-8k for the kitchen in labor. 

Should I wait to until my rental property is completely finished and ready to rent before I list it with an available date or should I start advertising a few weeks before it's done and use pictures of finished areas?
