My dad and i plan on getting a foreclosure and while we live in it fix it and flip it, my dad was a carpenter for 30 years and I’m an electrician. Now is it worth buying a membership to a HUDforclosure website? Where’s the best place to look? I’ve also been driving around physically looking and found a few but just want to see what you guys have to say about it

Ok so I found a house in prime location and put an offer in for it. Now besides the mortgage I know My other expenses are going to include insurance and property taxes. I also have money aside for any repairs. Am I missing anything? I plan on asking for 1.5 times the rent for a security deposit.

So I'm in the mists of purchasing my first college rental and I was wondering how much I should ask for a security deposit compared to the rent. I know college students party and destroy stuff so I'm guessing it should be somewhat high lol any advice would be awesome! Thanks
