@Ty M Kuntz @Joey Ly I'm a local investor and I'd recommend looking into Meetups in the area. They're a good place to get started apart from meeting investors and vendors individually.

Ty, there are investors in southern area that I'm planning to meet with. There's definitely activity down there.

@Micah Johnson-walker Congrats! I hope you have a team put together that takes care of the flipping process- Agent to run comps, rehab team, inspector etc. I'd also recommend attending the local REIA meetups (on meetup app). I come across quite a few experienced flippers in these meetings. They'd be a great resource. I highly recommend connecting with a few and learn about their process, how they run their numbers etc.

@Michael Hasegawa  For someone out of state and not familiar with the Indianapolis area at all, I recommend looking up " The Investor's Guide to Grading Indianapolis Neighborhoods". It's a BP article by Sterling White. That's a good starting point to understand a 30,000 ft view of different zip codes and their grades (A,B,C,D). Local investors and seasoned out of state folks would know that crime and investing criteria change street by street, just like any other major metro city. This map should at least get you comfortable with the names, zip codes and areas to avoid. Once you visit the city and take a tour of all the areas, you'd be more comfortable venturing into C, C- zones.

@Ryan Dickson Welcome! I'd recommend attending the local REIAs - INREIA (free) and CIREA( paid membership) apart form other meetups ( on the meetup app). They are a good place to network and meet other like minded folks in the area. I'm an investor myself. Feel free to reach out if you have questions or need help.
