Post: Indianapolis under $30-50K Market

Hey BP!

I saw numerous posts about investing in $30-50k market and I was wondering what's the situation for this market in and around Indianapolis. I live on the south side close to Greenwood - which is a great market in itself.

I bought my first, primary home last year after clearing a bunch of college loans ( woohoo!) . While I'm saving up, I'm thinking about getting familiar with the 30-50k market.

Any thoughts?

Cheers!

@Account Closed I JUST signed up for the meetups last week! Thank you for the info. That's exactly what I'm looking for and interested in. Meeting like minded individuals.

What was your general experience like in regards to being helpful and sharing information? I'm an absolute newbie. It would be great to have a 'mentor-mentee' relationship to learn from.

Thanks!

Couldn't help being an Engineer there with the subject line! :)

Hello all, I'm Mihir - full time engineer and a part-time (for now, at least) real estate enthusiast. I came across this forum in a YouTube video and it piqued my interest. Fortunately enough, I've been thinking about investing in a rental property and I couldn't have come across this page at a more opportune time.

I'm located in Indianapolis, an up and coming market for real estate investments. I'm pretty familiar with the neighborhoods and looking forward to meeting like minded, enthusiastic connections.

P.S: I'm taking my time in going through the beginner material and it's a good launch pad! I appreciate the effort that's being put into this by everyone.

Cheers!

Hey guys, I'm new to real estate investing and I'm located in Indy. It's wonderful to see Indy being one of the hot real estate investment areas.

@James Grueser hats off to you, mate! We'd love to know how you went about flipping 4 properties in Indy( from quite far away!)

@Dan Perrott I run an AirBnb on the southside close to Greenwood. You're absolutely right about the location. It's such a key! Congrats on the good business, by the way.

I'm curious, how do the taxes work on AirBnb income? I haven't crossed a year yet. I'm in for a surprise next year, maybe! lol

@Andrew Olsen  Beautiful apartment, man! I hope it's getting you good folks to stay! Mass ave is such a hot spot right now.
