Hello fellow Bigger Pockets members! My name is Miguel Hernandez, I am 23 and live in West Covina California. For years I always worked overtime or worked 2-3 jobs to earn some extra money for my children and fiancé. Luckily through countless hours of research, I came across real estate investing and the different ways to get started. Through research, I learned about wholesale real estate. Since learning about Wholesale real estate I quit my side jobs and dedicated my time to learn the entire process. After studying for months I can finally say I’m ready to start hunting for properties. While studying I always read that it’s always best to start in your backyard, aka in the city or area you grew up in, because you know that place the best. But since I live in the LA county multiple people have suggested that I wholesale virtually. After researching California’s market, I agreed that virtually wholesaling is best fit for me. I decided to wholesale in Omaha Nebraska. I have 2 cousins that currently live in Omaha and work for a contractor, so i reached out to my cousins and they agreed to help me with repair estimations.

Today is the start of my business and career. If anyone has any books, videos, or advice to give me please do not hesitate. I desire to learn knew knowledge every single day that can assist me on growing my business. I want to scale a wholesaling business that can work as an extra stream of income as well as help me fund my dream of owning properties. While wholesaling I have been studying the BRRRR method. It is my dream to be financially free and do something I actually love. As of right now I have about 50k saved. Any knowledge or response is greatly appreciated, and if anyone knows buyers in Omaha please contact me, thank you!
