I'm staying at a furnished home here in ybor and I see alot of land that is unused and alot of building that I feel can be repurposed to make the place better and help the people. My question is that is there something that prevents investors from getting into ybor??

Crime is the first thing that comes to mind. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve spoken with locals that say they avoid patronizing Ybor due to this. It will get better as it continues to gentrify.
Yes, I've seen that in the month that I've been here and it's definitely a problem but then that leads me to another question. If the crime is so bad and the homeless is out of control along with the chickens, why is the rent still so high??

I've been thinking about getting into remanufactured homes. House prices keep rising and I'm getting very frustrated with not having enough to cover the dti ratio. Is there a way that if I were to buy a remanufactured home, would it cashflow if i were to brrr them. Is there anything I need to know, is this even possible, more importantly would it even be worth it?? Thanks guys I'd appreciate all the help

Hey everyone, I will be moving to tampa in a few short weeks and still haven't found a place!! My job will be transferring me onto the macdill afb (I'm not military) in a few short weeks. I've been looking on zillow, redfin, rently and Facebook. The ones on zillow and redfin ask for more than I can afford and credit won't qualify me. Rently and Facebook shows some potential but still looking.( BTW, How do I know Facebook listing's aren't scams??) I'm just looking for someone to give my family a chance. My current living situation is very stressful but keeping positive. I do want to get into real estate very soon so I do know some of the process so i know we'll be excellent tenants.

Feel free to text me - I have a lot of connections with property managers that have large inventory for rentals.  There might be some available so I would be happy to connect you.  Just text me your budget and needs and I'll get you connected.

Absolutely, when would be a good time to send a message??

Hello Mickael, I believe if you talked to a realtor in Tampa they would be able to help you find a rental in your budget. You can also speak with a lender to see what you need to do to qualify for a mortgage if buying a house down there is one of your goals. If you take these steps you will know realistically your options. I am a licensed Realtor in Ohio but I can give you a referral to an agent in the area your looking if you need.

Yes, of course I would really appreciate any and all help, thank you!!

We primarily focus on vacants, preforeclosures, tax liens, and pre-probate leads.  There are over 600+ just in the Tampa area alone.  We can use more help!

That's sounds great, I would like to know more about all of it. What you need help with?? I'm still new in the space but willing to learn the business.

I currently live in lawrenceville, ga but I'm going to move to tampa, fl. I work for an automotive shop and get paid flat rate so my pay fluctuates. I am going to rent first then buy after 2 or 3 years. I am currently focusing on my credit and money management skills. I'll be moving in June, is there anything that I should know that I wouldn't know to look for?? Thanks to all
