Officially moving to Tampa!!

I currently live in lawrenceville, ga but I'm going to move to tampa, fl. I work for an automotive shop and get paid flat rate so my pay fluctuates. I am going to rent first then buy after 2 or 3 years. I am currently focusing on my credit and money management skills. I'll be moving in June, is there anything that I should know that I wouldn't know to look for?? Thanks to all
