In the long run, having pets in a rental from a maintenance perspective will be expensive.

If you're looking for a  bank to do a HELOC, i would recommend a local credit union in your area. They may have good terms that meet your requirements.

I live in the Greenville market.Prices are skyrocketing right now but you can find a deal through word of mouth and local wholesalers.
