Hi my name is Michael, I am new to BiggerPockets. I currently live in Santa Cruz, CA. I am currently a San Jose State University Senior as a Hospitality Management Major. After graduation in 2019, I plan to invest in my first investment property. Until then I am saving every dime I possibly can to fund my first deal. But I am not sure if I am going to be able to start in the Bay Area because of the cost of living. I am open to move elsewhere. Can anyone tell me what places in the U.S. are best to start your Real Estate Investing career??? Because of my passion for hospitality I would like to know the best places for short term rentals, but I also plan to do long term rentals as well. Thank you for reading everyone and I hope to hear your advice.
