Just bought my first property earlier this year (house hack) and working on setting myself up to flip. Actively searching for a property in NJ and just getting everything set up. Does anyone have any HML they personally worked with and had a great experience with?

I think you're right - taxes are a killer but right now I'm looking to flip until I have enough revenue to hold. I already found a prospective single family and am now going to start looking for investors. Do you have any experience with any portfolio or private lenders you could recommend?

My name is Michael and I am just getting into real estate investing and will be targeting single/multi families to rehab and resell in the Union County area of NJ. I grew up in the county and am hoping to begin my first project ASAP! I have some construction management experience so I'm hoping that will be an asset in not only my projects but also be a good springboard for others here on the site. For my Union County people - can anyone recommend a good real estate agent they've worked with and would recommend to a fellow investor? Also, what are your experiences with portfolio and hard money lenders in the area?

Hi @Guangli H.! I just joined BP and beginning my journey in real estate investing. Happy to see fellow NJ people here! I'll be targeting Union County (I grew up in Union but lived all over the county) and will definitely keep you in mind for projects. Would it be ok to PM to connect and ask some questions?
