Post: Best Way to Set Up Business Number?

Hello,

We are just starting to advertise to motivated sellers, home buyers/tenants, and other investors. I was wondering how other investors would best recommend setting up our business numbers to avoid confusion between sellers/buyers calling the same line. We currently have a google voice account which forwards calls to our private cellphones but that's it, any advise or product recommendations would be appreciated, thanks.

Hello all,

My team and I have begun speaking to our first motivated seller! We are leaning towards either a lease option assignment or a basic wholesale to a retail buyer. It's an absentee owner who seems to be a tired landlord, he currently has a tenant in his property but the lease runs out in a month. He told us he still owes 186k and is renting it out for 1,200k, currently that area rents for about 1,500 and the house could sell for 240-250k ARV. The home needs minor cosmetic repairs, or so we've been told. Any thoughts or comments would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

My partners and I are looking into launching our website to try and generate leads. We really like the look of some Wordpress sites but are unclear on if they offer the right functionality, which a service like Investor Carrot offers. Does anyone have any experience using Wordpress for their lead generation site, or do most people stick to using something like Investor Carrot?

Welcome to the site! My brother and I are new to REI as well and we are both looking at Huntsville since he is living there. We plan on wholesaling some properties and would love to run some by you once we get some. Do you know what kind of homes you are looking for?

Elbert Dockery Yea that's important to take into account as well. I'll check out as many as I can to get a good overview of the business as a whole. Thank you!

Christopher Brainard Great info this clears a lot of it up. We'll definitely try and iron out our list to make it the best it can be.

Hello all,

My brother and I have been working hard to learn all about wholesaling and we are approaching the period of beginning our mailing. My question is, how many quality leads should we have before we send out mail? I'm asking because he recently went to the local courthouse and pulled about 10 good probate leads. I see most people saying to have hundreds before mailing as response rates are so low. Ideally we would love to grow our number but with our probate situation it's hard to have a surplus of quality leads, looking for some advice. Thank you!

@Daniel Hyman Just finished that one up, it was a great listen, thank you for the recommendation!
