When to Start Mailing?

Hello all,

My brother and I have been working hard to learn all about wholesaling and we are approaching the period of beginning our mailing. My question is, how many quality leads should we have before we send out mail? I'm asking because he recently went to the local courthouse and pulled about 10 good probate leads. I see most people saying to have hundreds before mailing as response rates are so low. Ideally we would love to grow our number but with our probate situation it's hard to have a surplus of quality leads, looking for some advice. Thank you!

@Michael C.

The best time to send out mailers is when you want to buy a house, whether its 10 or 10,000. You just need to keep in mind that mailing is a numbers game, the better your list, the better response rate, but it is still going to be low. The best rate I've gotten so far is ~10% callbacks, but we only purchased from a few of those.
