@Mark Reiland I was just wondering how much a 1/1 apartment would add to value of the property. It's a stand alone structure on the same parcel of land. Both dwellings have been noted on the tax assessment. The main house is a 3/1.5 and that is easy to find comps for but I wasn't sure about the value of the 1/1. Any ideas? Thanks!

@Matt Cole I use City Data and Best Places to pull all my data. You can also use rich block poor blocks which is a site that aggregates all the data but you have to pay. The metrics that you are looking at are a great start, on the sites I mentioned you'll be able to get a detailed image (on paper) how certain zip codes/areas are. Hope this helps! Cheers!

@Mark Reiland do you do appraisals in Cedar Rapids as well or just in Iowa City?
