@Brianna Reynolds awesome! And is that just for KCMO or for all KCMO Metro like, independence, Grandview, lee summit etc ... ?

 Just Kansas City, Missouri. For example, the properties I manage in Gladstone don't have the same paperwork needed.

my brother mentioned Raytown is now adopting this as well  he also said something about if you evict in KC you may have to pay the eviction costs of the person being evicted and Raytown could also adopt that! Do you know anything about the validity of that?

Welcome back! Which area are you in? Lee’s Summit here!

@Ty Robert Horveath Jr.

Not yet. I’m trying to find out more. My brother was telling me about it and that he may sell his rental before dealing with that kind of stuff said they’re adopting the same rules as Kansas City?! That’s why I posted because I want to know more!! If that’s the case, I’m not purchasing in those areas of KC!

So my brother told me about some new regulations that Raytown is implementing following the Kansas City ones or something. From what he says, all rentals will now have to apply and pay for a license and pay for an inspection every two years as well to make sure it meets their requirements.

His bigger worry is that supposedly if they adopt the Kansas City policies that if you have to evict someone you now have to pay their eviction fees/lawyer fees?!

Anyone have any knowledge on this? I was starting to look to possibly invest in Raytown myself but maybe not if this is true?!

Appreciate the responses!

Hey there! I’m in the KC area. What kind of places are you using for Airbnb here? Are there many restrictions/regulations to work around?

Hey everyone!

We're about to finish our first BRRRR in McAlester. We did the work this first go round, but we may do more in McAlester but would like to find a good contractor to work with as we are actually out of state. We know the area because my wife's family is there but we're in Missouri.

Any contractors in the area out there??
