I can definitely relate to what @Lauren OKane is saying. I desire to be a part of a commmunity of young investors as well and build good relationships with them. May you provide more details about the Christmas party?
 

This is great information! Thank you all so much! I have a dumb question though. I really want to practice viewing homes and analyzing their numbers. Do I need to pay a realtor to do the virtual tours for me? I’ve heard that the seller pays the realtor once the property sells, but I’m not really looking to buy at this moment. I just want to practice viewing the homes, so how does that work? 

Hey everyone! I was wondering how popular are virtual property tours? I am visually impaired, and it can sometimes be a little difficult to travel to multiple properties in a day or over the course of a week. I’m also a little concerned about safety. Virtual tours would work best but are agents typically happy to do them?

@Ned Carey  Absolutely!  it’s very nice to meet you! I want to learn as much as I can about real estate! I think the first thing I’d like to learn is wholesaling. I don’t necessarily want to do wholesaling forever but I think it’s a good way to get started when you don’t have a ton of capital. Right now I’m practicing on analyzing deals. I do this every day just for practice. If I don’t know the actual numbers for a category like vacancy, etc., then I’ll make it up. I just want to have a good understanding of how the equations work together. Would you by any chance know of an experienced wholesaler who wouldn’t mind guiding me? 

I literally just made my first post yesterday! It was about making connections and networking in the Chicagoland area!

Typically me and my team go and network but the Florida market is calling and I have a meet-up in Tampa. Use the event to start building your network and feel out some perspectives and get some tips. I have met some great investors groups there that I still help to this very day. I met an investor who came to me for help and now owns over 25 doors. You just never know who you will meet and how that relationship will blossom

Hi! My name is Megan. I’m new to real estate investing. I am looking for a mentor to teach me how to do deer analysis, preferably in the Chicago/northwest Indiana area but that’s not a requirement.
