@Bob Collett not just the Cleveland Metro Parks, but all of the surrounding counties have wonderful park systems as well.  Summit Metro Parks are great too.  In that same vein of under-appreciated assets, our Arts scene, both performing and visual, is incredible.  Cleveland is home to one of the best symphony orchestras in the world, we have a wonderful theater district, great museums and a vibrant local visual art culture.

I love our region and hope to see it continue to rebound.

@Account Closed that seems like a pretty ambitious goal. Good luck.  It's always good to more people from NEO on the site.

I'm a fix and flipper focusing mostly on Summit County.

@Clay Manshipand @Nicholas NovakI am always looking for fix and flip opportunities in the Northeast Ohio area. I have completed 4 flips in the last 18 months and seem to be running out of options on the MLS. I would be interested to know what you have in Summit County Ohio.

@Anthony Jenkins Welcome to BP Anthony.  I am a fix n flip investor from Summit County.  I but mostly in the suburbs of Akron and have completed 4 flips.  MY best piece of advice is don't get stuck in the trap of paralysis by analysis.  The best way to learn is to just do it.

Ask questions and take advantage of this community.  Good luck in whatever you do.

@Kyle Stoltz I am having the same problem.  My agent has set up a search for me and there are some things out there, but most seem to be over priced.  I have also been on loopnet, but it seems to be tough.  I want to get in with a 4 - 10 unit building to start.

Good luck on your search.

@Cody Wakefield reading and educating yourself only can take you so far. I am one who says jump right in. I have no idea what your financial situation is, but I would figure out what you want to do and just start. If that is buy and hold find a SFR that works for you and figure out how to buy it. If fix and flip is what you want to do, then get your contractor to go out and look at some houses.

Experience is the best way to learn in my opinion. Even a deal that loses money is one that gives you valuable knowledge.  Good luck and use the resources available, but don't get caught up in analysis paralysis.

I hit my goal of 3 flips for 2015.  The third one took me quite a while to get completed and sold but I got their.  For 2016, I am hoping to complete 5 flips and purchase a multi-family.  I would like to start the rental career with a 4plex in Summit County, Oh.  We'll see how things go. Good luck to all of you in 2016 and congrats on those who had a great 2015.
