@Darryl Shelton That would be awesome! I will definitely look into that. Do you know the name of the group or a way to look them up? If not can I just message you closer to the third Thursday of the month to find out what time it starts out?

Thank you!

-Max

@Marc Tuckey I will do that! If you ever need any help with anything or just want to talk about investing that would be awesome. I just want to be apart of the investing community around here. I plan to be around for a while.

Thank you!

Hi @William Corcoran

I did listen to that one a few weeks ago, and when I heard she was in Denton Texas I was excited to learn someone who made the podcast was from my area! I think that a pretty big deal. I think I will see how I can contact her or her brokerage.

Thank you!

Hi everyone,

My name is Max, and I am just beginning in real estate investing. I am a college student currently and I am looking to begin by house hacking this year. I want to focus on student rentals, because I have the most experience in that area. I am currently wanting to meet people with an interest in talking about real estate investing, because most people I know have no idea what I am talking about. I am in Denton, Texas, and I am highly motivated to get started and meet other investors, realtors, or anyone with genuine interest in real estate.

Thanks!

Max.

Hi Sherry,

I am a college student and I live in Denton.  I do not have a lot of experience and I do not have a license currently, but I am interested in pursuing one, and if I got one I was wondering where I could find a broker who focuses on investment real estate. I am just beginning in real estate investing and this sounds like an awesome idea. I would love to be part of something like this, and I am highly motivated to get involved in real estate.

Thanks!

Max

Post: Denton, Texas Multifamily Sales Comps

Hey Daniel,

I live in Denton and the the best way I can think of to find sales comps of other multifamily's is to find some that are similar and do a property search on the Denton County tax appraisers website. They will sometimes list the sale price on the deed history. For example the 97 unit property you were looking at sold for $2,600,000 in 2005 and for $3,525,000 in 2008.
