@Wayde Hall

Any issues with distance from theme parks for davenport properties? Or have you not found that to be an issue? I tried to shoot for 15 min when I would stay in the area whereas davenport is a little further away.

Are People Recommending Orlando even with the amount of competition there?  Any particular communities in that area that seem to perform the best as far as amenities and location (ie. windsor hills, championsgate etc)?  Im guessing in that market that you really need to go all out on theming and decor?

Looking to get into the STR property market (currently own LTRs in Ohio with one STR in Miami) and I was looking at Kissimmee as a starting point. I vacationed pretty frequently in the area, so I know that there are a whole lot of STRs there and its probably one of the most competitive markets. Based on that are people steering clear of that area or are you going in and just really differentiating your property with great theming/amenities and having success with high occupancy rates?

Post: Anyone buying in Kissimmee for short term rentals right now

I currently invest in SFRs un Ohio, but have been looking at buying some SFR in the Kissimmee area in the near future for STR use (family has one in Miami that does pretty well).

I'm fairly familiar with the area and what people look for when they rent on Airbnb, as I have been down there multiple times recently for vacations. I would love to go ahead and buy one, but am wondering what people who buy in that area think of current prices. Do you think prices will soften a bit here in the fall/winter or when foreclosures start to open a little bit? Is anyone buying off the MLS for short term rentals and making it work pretty easily? The high prices are just scaring me off from buying right now.

@Mario Dattilo appreciate the insight here into typical scenarios for these loans. I've started reaching out and will continue. My assumption was similar on which banks will be willing to do that loan amount, so I'm targeting the smaller regional banks around me (already have one who handles our sfr and small mfh).

Looking to purchase a Mobile home park in southwest ohio.  Not a huge one, around 40 units.  Thinking the total price will be in the 500-750k range.   Can anyone recommend any banks in the ohio region who will offer loans for a MHP this size?

Thanks

Thanks for these tips.  I joined a couple of facebook groups and will try to see if I can get on some wholesale lists that way.  Also looking at trying out some direct marketing campaigns.  Already went Driving for dollars and am now trying to reach out to those owners.

Hi,

Im a resident of the local area (Xenia) looking to purchase some more properties in the region.  Mainly interested in Greene County (Xenia, Fairborn, Beavercreek), but open to other areas as long as they are East of 75.

Right now I own 7 properties in the Xenia area and now have enough cash built up to go out and start purchasing more properties. So far I have stuck to SFH (typically 3 Bed/1 Bath), but am also interested in smaller multi family (duplex, triplex, quads).

Would love to hear any insights into good wholesalers in these areas or just any other ways people these days are finding properties. Most of our properties were purchased via foreclosure auctions, but these days its hard to find any that make sense through that route even.

Thanks,

Matt
