Hey @Wyatt Cutler Tiffany,

Thank you for reaching out! if thumbs up emojis were available I would insert two of them here. I'll shoot you a request momentarily.

The sidewalk ordinance sure is a booger isn't it! We've got one on 12th Ave N that we had to go all the way through the sidewalk process with.  We had to get the sidewalk plan, deed right of way, get it all approved, revise permits...all in all it set us back about 6 weeks!!! We're about to start rough-in's now but for awhile it seemed like we'd never get to get started!

Thanks @Ken Barnett!  Looks like you have quite the array of experience playing the game.  We've participated in many different facets of real estate throughout my life.  My dad was an agent in the 70's & 80's...as long as I can remember, real estate was just something we did.  Similar to eating, or breathing, or what have you.  Now we greatly look forward to learning the "rules" of how to play the Infill game here in Nashville!

Thanks again, Ken!

@Matt Beech Hey Matt, thanks for the welcome!  We have been wanting to get into infill since 2013.  It wasn't until early '16 that we were able to find our way in.  I know that there are many ways to attain one's goals in real estate investing, new construction is just what we enjoy and feel we can be the most proficient at.

We are relatively new to infill ourselves, but we are learning as much as we can as fast as we can.

I look forward to any interactions we may have with you in the future!

So I've Chosen to make my "New Member Intro" post on Friday instead of waiting 'till Monday.  I've heard two different processes of thought on this.

(1) "There is no time like the present..."

-and-

(2) "If you want to bury something online, release it on a Friday. Especially at the beginning of a holiday or school break." (Loosely quoted)

We'll see how this goes!

That being said...hey there BiggerPockets community!  My name is Matthew Bolton and I am a GC in Nashville, Tennessee.  The reasons I have joined BiggerPockets are as follows:

(1) To Network with Investors who are specifically Infill Minded and interested in our local market.

(2) To Network with local whole sellers.

(3) To learn more in general about buying to hold as we are wanting to develop a strategy ahead of the next correction for the purposes of development in the next upswing as well as rentals for portfolio diversification.

Thank you BiggerPockets for creating this platform! I look forward to meeting and networking with you!
