@Michael Wessel did you end up looking over that thread?   If so, what is your plan?  Why is it taking so long to close?  Are you going to use the current property manager?

Post: Solar Farm Through Cyprus Creek Renewables

Cyprus Creek Renewables has approached my mother about building a solar farm on her 67 acres of farmground.  Anyone have any experience with them or any other companies in this field.  If so, how did it go, what are the drawbacks? Just from googling, I see neighbors may put up a fight to try to block it.   They sure are paying a great price per acre and locking it in for a long time.  Financially it seems like the way to go, but I'm sure there are many things we haven't thought about yet.

Anyone have a sample commercial lease with the nnn component? I wasn't able to find one.

I'm wondering if people use NNN leases for businesses which may have 1 or a few locations or are these just basically for the major national chains?

nice update!

I can only see my previous 15 but did notice when I deleted one of those 15, an older one showed up.   What exactly is going on here, why aren't they all accessible?

Bogle is good.  Putting everything in Vanguard index funds is the best way to do it passively. Trying to actually beat the market by active buying & selling of individual stocks is a tough gig and a lot of people don't think it can done long term.  The flash boys are taking so much off the top, its a brutal game.

Yes that was my initial plan, I was surprised the bank wouldn't accept the offer contingent on that.
