Thank you Patti...makes a lot of sense.

Thank you Kyle:  The parent in question is on disability.

As a first time home buyer and investor, using an FHA loan, can I legally rent one of the apartment units to a parent who is on Section 8, having them as my tenants?

What are the tools, indicators, resources, or surefire ways in identifying the different types of properties, in order to make an informed decision?

Where should i start an LLC for real estate investment new york or the north east in general. I've heard quite a few discussions that Delaware is the state to use?

So, you've formed a new LLC, gotten a new EIN number...now what? Can you now, at this point (even though you haven't yet sold anything in your business) apply for and receive substantial amounts business credit for the purpose of real estate investing ?

Thanks Wayne!  I just wasn't sure if Experian's score was a great benchmark, as Credit Karma currently says i'm in the mid 600's.  As far as approachin a lender, I was delaying that until I hit the 750 range, as I figured them running my credit would make my score drop.  I'm not sure how low, but I was just a bit hesitant for that reason.  Thanks so much again!  Be well...

According to Experian, I've an over 700 score, only one revolving account, not other debt. Am i ready to start looking for my first deal?
